DOMINICAN 4 Restaurant in Farmingdale

Absolutely horrendous. I came up to Long Island to visit my dad before moving away to Washington DC. We ordered food for pick up at 523 PM and the food wasn't ready at 6 PM. No big deal, I work in the restaurant business... I'll just have a beer and wait patiently. I finished my beer and now it's about 640 PM. A server comes up and asks if I'd like another beer. At this point I'm wondering what could possibly take so long because most of the food is served buffet style, so I ask the server what's taking so long and he says, "Okay, I'll check." He then proceeds to walk away and wipe down a table. I lost it...it was beat for everyone involved that I walk out and calm down. I came back in and magically all hands are on deck and my order is ready. My dad suffered a stroke and I'm a little leery about moving away in the first place. Every moment I have with him is extremely important to me, and this joke of a restaurant stole an hour and a half from me. Absolutely pathetic.

The food is regularly fresh and flavorful, employees hands out great customer service. I love the cleanliness and ambience. I highly recommend this spot.

The Flan.Our favorite lunch is chicken stew with plantains, yellow rice, and red beans.The plantains are amazing! SLIGHTLY crisp on the outside. Tender and sweet on the inside.Everything has sooooo much flavor!! The chicken stew. The pernil. The grilled chicken cutlets smothered in onions!!The chicken soup is even incredible - with HUGE chunks of fresh vegetables (carrots & potatoes).And the prices cannot be beat!!Try it! You'll be hooked!! :-)

Did not give me the right empanadas and the box was melted. Otherwise food was good.

The Dominican (4) restaurant is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever ate at...the food is so homey and delicious, the staff is so friendly and professional. The place is so clean and beautiful Norca the owner is a sweet lady that always welcomes you and makes you feel at home.

Ate there’s last week and the food was exquisite. The lobster melted in your mouth. The Mofongo with churrasco one can tell was made with quality meat. The service was one point and very attentive. I cannot say enough about this place. Just go! You won’t regret it!

I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I feel like having a good lunchon, this is the place that comes first to my head. fresh and all kinds of food and a large list of dishes.professional staff, and agreeable atmosphere.
